Eastern Conference 2010-11 Standing Predictions:

It looks like the Eastern Conference is wide open and any team can make the playoffs this season. The top six spots are set with the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, and Orlando Magic battling for first place. The Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Buck, and Atlanta Hawks will try and battle to secure home court advantage with the fourth seed. The seventh and eight spot are up for grabs and won't be decided until the last night of the season. Everybody is waiting for opening night to watch LeBron James and company, but the real team to watch in the East is the Orlando Magic. Vince Carter is in a contract year and will likely play out of his mind and Dwight Howard looks to be improving. The Celtics are a scary veteran team who are playoff tested and can't be counted out in the East. The bottom of the East will be fun to watch because anyone can slide in the the seventh or eighth slot. Look for several of the bottom tier teams to play hard in the beginning to see if they can fight for the playoffs or will be fighting for the number one pick in June.
