The Scaramento Kings are hoping Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins will be the perfect inside/outside combination they've always been looking for. Evans had an unbelievable rookie seaason and will look to improve big time in his sophomore season. The Kings are hoping Cousins is in shape and make an impact upon his arrival. The Kings have a solid team, but still are a couple of players away from making noise in the Western Conference. In the front court the Kings have a lot of different options in Samuel Dalembert, Josh Thompson and Carl Landry. The problem the Kings are facing is in the back court and on the wings. If Omri Casspi, Beno Udrih, and Donte Greene work on there defense the Kings can have a big year. I wouldn't be surprised if the Kings made the playoffs, but they'll probably end of in the lottery this season.

  • Back Court:
Tyreke Evans is becoming one of the best players in the NBA. Evans needs to work on his turnovers and also get his teammates involved to become an all-star player. Evans will have another big year this season as he looks to improve. Beno Udrih will help Evans become a better player. Udrih is a solider shooter who will play without the ball a lot with Evans there. If Francisco Garcia isn't injuried all season then he'll add a lot the Kings offense. Garcia can shoot and drive to the basket. Garcia could become the sixth man and lead the second unit. Antoine Wright and Luther Head won't get a lot of minutes, but both are solid veterans.

  • Front Court:
The Kings look to be deep and young in the front court. Samuel Dalembert can bring post defense, block shots, and rebound. DeMarcus Cousins will battle in the low post and win most nights. Jason Thompson has a nice mid range jumper, while Carl Landry brings energy and scoring. The big question is who will play best with each other and sometimes that's the biggest problem. Donte Greene will likely start at small forward, but Omri Casspi will push him for minutes. Greene needs to figure out how to defender other small forwards because his offense is solid. Casspi has a nice fan following  and just needs to be more consistant to earn minutes. Hassan Whiteside will probably see limited minutes, however has plenty of upside.

The Sacramento Kings have a lot of young talent and if DeMarcus Cousins plays up to his potential they could land the 8th seed in the playoffs. Evans will looks to have another big year and if he uses his team better will become an elite player in the NBA.
