July 14th - Matched Cleveland’s offer sheet to guard Kyle Lowry.

July 17th - Agreed to terms with center Brad Miller on a three- year contract.

July 18th - Luis Scola signs new contract.

July 21st -  Officially signed center Brad Miller to a three-year contract.

July 28th - Traded center David Anderson to Toronto for cash and a future second-round pick.

August 11th - In a four team trade the Rockets trade Trevor Ariza to the New Orleans Hornets and receive Courtney Lee from the New Jersey Nets.

August 23rd - Sign Ishmael Smith to a contract.
